Our candles are made from 100% natural, vegan soy wax with clean, premium fragrance and essential oils (free from all carcinogens, mutagens, and toxins that are present in most big box store candles) and our wicks are made of toxic free cotton. Our soy candles even comply with the Proposition 65 warning in California, which if you looked at most of your household product labels, you would be surprised that the vast majority do not! They are also 100% phthalate-free.

One of the catalysts for starting this business was stumbling upon blog posts detailing the dangers of big box store candles (and yes, THOSE big box store candles). I looked around my house and saw about 6 of them. I knew I needed to educate myself. The ways in which these companies manipulate their marketing and show no care for excluding *extremely* harmful chemicals was baffling (just one example: toxic chemicals like benzene and toluene, which are known carcinogens and can also cause headaches, nausea, respiratory problems, and birth defects.) Not cool.

Many states have restrictions on the VOC percentage of reed diffusers. VOC's or Volatile Organic Compounds are compounds that are harmful and create indoor air quality problems. Our reed diffuser base is non-toxic, and VOC compliant in all 50 states, so you can be confident that your reed diffusers meets indoor air quality regulations. It also does not contain DPG. All reed diffuser oils are NOT created the same and many store bought products contain harmful chemicals and VOCs.

Soy wax contains nothing artificial, which makes it a better alternative to old-fashioned paraffin wax, which is made from petroleum oil and produces harmful by-products when burned or melted. Read that last sentence again! PETROLEUM oil! I CANNOT!!! Soy wax is non-toxic making it better both for the environment and your health!

Most orders will ship within 1-4 business days and delivery time is based on the carrier and your location. All orders ship either UPS or USPS. When order is placed you will receive a confirmation via email. When we ship your order you will receive a shipping notification via email with your tracking number.

Local delivery is available for orders $25.00+ and there is a $3 delivery charge for orders under $50.00. Delivery is available within 15 miles of our location in Collinsville, IL. You will receive a text message to confirm delivery details. All deliveries are typically made within 1-5 business days from order date.

| Local Pick-up |
Porch pick up is always free and you will receive a text message when your order is ready for pick up. Orders are typically ready within 1-3 business days, with exceptions during the holiday season. Orders will be placed in a semi-temperature controlled cooler during summer months to help keep candles cool and to prevent melting. If you can't swing by at your intended time, please let us know as we don't want candles sitting out longer than needed during the hot months!

I wish I had a more intriguing story here, lol. My husband and I were sitting on the couch and we were both sick of me complaining about not being able to figure out a business name. I knew I didn't want the word "candles" in the name since I wasn't sure what product categories and directions I'd eventually go in, and I knew I wanted it to be memorable. We tried to find clever ways of incorporating my perfect angel, center of my universe furchild, Charlotte, in the name - but no luck. I said we should include happy, because ultimately THAT is what I wanted and knew I needed to add to the world through my products. I'm a HUGE animal lover so Wes brought up including that somehow, one of us said "hmm.. what about elephant?" and the rest is history.
